Using Social and Behavior Change Along the Service Delivery Continuum
*Recommended Audience: Young Professionals/Graduate Students and Mid-Level Professionals
Service communication – the use of Social and Behavior Change along the service delivery continuum – can improve health outcomes. Through hands-on, interactive group work, this workshop will allow participants to explore service communication principles and how they can apply them in their work. We will present a brand new model for service communication and a video showing the model in action. Using key content from the Service Communication Implementation Kit, participants will explore service communication design and coordination principles through a small group jigsaw activity. Participants will then apply those principles to case studies and reflect on how they can use them in their own work.
Speakers: Patricia Macdonald, USAID; Elaine Menotti, USAID; Heather Hancock, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health
