New M&E guidance for Community Provision of Injectable Contraception
Provision of injectable contraceptives by community health workers (CHWs) has great potential for improving access to family planning. But how can the quality of such programs best be monitored and evaluated? In this session introducing new global guidance on monitoring and evaluation (M&E) of community-based access to injectable contraception (CBA2I), participants will learn steps they can take to ensure the quality of their programs and will leave with a list of recommended M&E indicators with complete definitions. Lastly, participants will be armed with information to present to stakeholders to explain why effective M&E of CBA2I is so important.
